I was born on Christmas Island

Fishing and catching were my earliest memories of education. Living on this land

 

gave a strong understanding of teaching a person to fish feeds them for life! As a

young teenage girl, my family traveled to Florida for a vacation holiday. We stayed

for a month, and visited many of the wonderful tourist attractions. We toured the 

campus of USF, I fell in love. I learned about International Student opportunities. I 

set my sights on this program and was awarded a scholarship to travel abroad and

earn my teaching degree at USF.  http://www.usf.edu/  I am a proud graduate, but 

remain a lifelong eager student.

Growing up on the Indian Ocean where there were flying fish, I knew my potential 

was unlimited. This gave me the desire to teach with no boundaries. Limitless

learning, there are no walls in my classroom.
